Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

Thanks @MJG017 I have an appointment on Tuesday, so will ask the doctor to tick the less than 13 weeks box and see how I go.

Thank you so much for sharing that, I really appreciate it 😊🤗

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

@MJG017 Is there a way that you can post a link to donate on your page, that is not going to reveal your identity?

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

No problem at all @Mustang67, hopefully you can get it sorted.  They system is pretty borked... and intentionally difficult to navigate in my opinion.  Let us know how you get on on Tuesday.

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

@Mustang67the website for it is www.thelongrun.org.au

My page on it has my real name.  I don't have an issue with that but I know it is against the rules here.  I could tell you the exact amount I've raised so far or my current rank on the leaderboard which changes slightly over time but you could probably work me out from there based on my username here.  But probably best to check the rules here first before I give out any info.  @tyme could probably clarify.

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

Will do

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

Hi @MJG017 ,

Thanks for asking first. You are right, because it can jeopardize your anonymity.

Unless, AFTER the event, if the information is no longer accessible on the website, can you share it then?

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

@MJG017 How much have you raised so far? I will donate when I get paid next week.

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

@MJG017 I think I finally found you.

I hope it is you, as I have shared your link on Facebook, and asked for people to donate if they can.

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

@Mustang67Like I thought, if I tell you how much i've raised so far, you could easily work out who I am on the leaderboard.  I only started yesterday so the amount raised is changing quite a bit to begin with anyway.  But I really appreciate your offer, it was incredibly generous of you.

I was also thinking about my post of the ticking the 13 weeks.  I remembered tonight, that that was for the medical certificates to get each 3 month exemption before I was told to apply for the DSP.  I looked up my old paperwork and the DSP application wanted a copy of my most recent medical certificate (SU485) with the 13 weeks ticked but the Verification of Medical condition(s) form (SU684) had my prostate cancer listed as "Permanent (Likely to persist for 2 years or more).  So the 13 week thing is only relevant when applying for the 3 month exemption and not the DSP application itself.  So my tip is probably not relevant.

Re: Navigating Centrelink Payments

@Mustang67Wow!  You really are quite determined and sleuthy.
