So are you saying, you can look images up on pinterest, then save it in a certain file, then use it?

so you can pretty much search any kind of image plus SVG

you want images like this to start with. Just a single layer.

 

click the image, and then the 3 little dots and download the image.

open design space. And upload your image. Then ya need to delete the background. Even though I pay the subscription and I can have the background deleted automatically, sometimes with the finer details it erased too much and removes part of the image too. So gotta do the ‘select’ button and delete background that way. 

then apply 

covert to a ‘single layer’ (that’s just one colour)- play with that first before you start with multiple layers and colours. 

then make as usual. 

there is so many images on Pinterest that you can use.

Is this only in pinterest? I'm doing it on google while on this work laptop to 'practise' before i do it on my ipad later tonight, but I'm lost.

Yep totally works in google @tyme  anywhere you wanna find images. Just add svg on the end so that it gives you the simple images 

this is a ‘Disney svg’ search in google. Just save the image and then upload to design studio

I think I'm getting it. So you go to google images, then type in "Disney SVG" , then you save the image and upload it to the Design Cricuit app?

If so, I'm excited! I thought you had to buy everything!

What about fonts. Can you download fonts? @Bow

and nope don’t need to buy anything really. I’m not sure about the fonts? I think there is an option ‘system’ in the font part, perhaps that’s what fonts you have already downloaded like from 1001 free fonts? Like into word

I know there's some you can download within the app, but I don't really like those fonts. To be honest, as you can tell, I really just haven't made time to look into it. 

Let me know if you work it out. 

But I also have to say, I don't know what I don't know. I never know you could download that SVG things... whatever it is @Bow
