I get a lot of repetitive OCD thoughts. I think I’m naturally predisposed to OCD like thinking, it’s been normalised in my family. Having a trauma history also doesn’t help. My symptoms are more thought focused, though I do engage in cleaning behaviours that might be seen as excessive by some. They’re not considered excessive by family members. I get lots of physical contamination (germs) and mental contamination (these are trauma related). I’m wondering what helps other others cope with constant clatter. It’s really distressing to sit with these thoughts, especially the ones around mental contamination. It worsens SI (I’m safe).

@creative_writer oh creative_writer hugs and hugs. i do not suffer ocd but can only imagine what it could be like. I am sorry you are suffering. bunx
